A Wider Field   〰️〰️   4-6th December 2026

Some people have spent enough time beyond the familiar to see the world differently.
Mac Macartney is one of them.
Mac has been endorsed as a speaker by senior leaders including Virginie Helias, Chief Sustainability Officer at Procter & Gamble, and has spoken internationally on leadership, sustainability and cultural renewal.

What draws me to Mac is not a particular subject he teaches.

It is the breadth of what he has lived, questioned and explored - and the way he brings those experiences into conversation.

He speaks about nature, beauty, courage, leadership, love and the future, but rarely as separate subjects. His work invites us to look at the connections between them.

His life and work have moved through many worlds - from entrepreneurship and organisational development to nature, community, mentoring and the exploration of what it means to live with greater courage, connection and purpose.

He founded Embercombe, a centre dedicated to exploring the regeneration of land, society and people, and in recent years has focused much of his work on Kith & Kin, a long-form mentoring community.

  • What happens when we spend time with someone whose frame of reference is wider than our own?

  • What might we notice about the way we live, lead, choose and relate?

  • What possibilities become visible when familiar assumptions are gently moved aside?

What happens to your inner world when someone who usually speaks to thousands sits down at a table with just five others?

  • 4–6th December 2026

  • A small group of curious people - 4 places only

  • Two nights at 1500 m altitude, in Italy

  • Unhurried conversations

  • Time away from the usual pace

  • A space for perspectives to meet, questions to unfold and something new to become visible

I am curious to find out. And you?
